Outdoor BBQ at Thackray House
Gather your family and friends and join us for a relaxed summer afternoon at the beautiful Thackray House. Our Outdoor BBQ promises delicious food, live music, lawn games and a welcoming atmosphere, all set against the stunning backdrop of our grounds in the heart of Callander.

Wedding Open Evening
Join us for a relaxed and informal Wedding Open Evening, offering the perfect opportunity to explore Thackray House, meet our team and imagine your celebration within this beautiful historic setting.
The Drummond Suite will have a sample table set up, allowing you to see the space brought to life and discover how it could look for your own special day. On arrival, enjoy a welcome drink and canapés before taking a tour of the House and its romantic riverside grounds with a member of our team.
Our wedding team will be available throughout the evening to answer questions, discuss ideas and talk you through everything from intimate celebrations to exclusive-use weddings.

Get ready for a wickedly entertaining evening of murder, mystery, comedy and delicious food at an interactive dinner event.
Each year, as moonlight falls, a mysterious wedding party returns from beyond the grave. Bound by an ancient spell, the awful wedded wife and her ghastly betrothed are doomed to relive their wedding celebrations until they can finally discover true love – or perhaps something altogether more sinister.
Can you help this ill-fated couple find matrimonial bliss? Or will secrets, suspicion and scandal ensure their wedding remains a nightmare for eternity? Only true love can break the spell and allow our spectres to finally R.I.P.!
Your evening begins with a sparkling glass of fizz on arrival, before you take your seat in the elegant Drummond Ballroom. Settle in for a delicious three-course dinner, accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person, while the ghostly celebrations begin to unfold around you.

Join us at Thackray House for a relaxed and wonderfully indulgent evening dedicated to exceptional whisky, delicious food and the stories behind every dram, hosted in partnership with the spirits experts from WoodWinters.
Your evening begins with a handcrafted whisky cocktail reception, the perfect opportunity to settle in before being welcomed by our whisky expert, who will introduce the evening and guide you through what lies ahead.
To complement the tasting, our chefs will serve a seasonal sharing platter menu, with dishes thoughtfully paired with the whiskies. Discover how different flavours in the food can enhance, soften or completely transform the character of a dram as you enjoy each pairing at your own pace.
Throughout the evening, our experts will share the stories, craftsmanship and traditions behind the whiskies—from the influence of ingredients and maturation to the distinctive flavours waiting in your glass. Whether you already have a favourite dram or rarely drink whisky, the emphasis is firmly on discovering, tasting and enjoying rather than knowing all the answers.

Your mission begins with a sparkling glass of fizz on arrival before taking your seat in the elegant Drummond Ballroom. Enjoy a delicious three-course dinner accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person, while our Walking Theatre performers bring the world of spies, secrets and deception to life.
